How to get ready for your appointment:
If you are getting fine line tattoos please review the fine line information
If you are getting a custom please review my Customs Policy
Let me know all allergies that you have so that I can properly prepare for the appointment
Please be on time! If you are more than 20 minutes late for your appointment you will be charged another deposit (the same amount as your initial deposit) and we will have to reschedule. Thank you for respecting my time.
Check your preferred placement and make sure the skin in that area is not broken or damaged. I am unable to tattoo over sunburned, scraped, acne, or bruised skin.
Please do NOT shave before your appointment! You can prep for your appointment by staying hydrated, and exfoliating and moisturizing your skin in the weeks prior to the appointment. Having moisturized skin is incredibly important, especially for fine line tattoos.
If you have bumpy skin in that area please prep by using KP Bump Eraser Exfoliator in that area for minimum 3 weeks leading up to the appointment. This is especially important for fine line tattoos!
Please come fed and hydrated! Eat a large and nutritious meal. Your body is undergoing an intense procedure, it needs fuel.
NO ALCOHOL OR CAFFEINE for 24hrs prior to the appointment
Please let me know if you plan on bringing a guest to your appointment, since I have a small studio space and try to limit your guests to 1 person at this time. Everyone must be 18 years or older.
Please review my Aftercare instructions to ensure you have all the proper aftercare materials.
I suggest having clean bedsheets and clothes prepped for after your appointment, it is HIGHLY suggested to sleep in clean sheets and wear clean clothes after your appointment.
Pre-Appointment Instructions
What to bring to your appointment:
Personal Identification Card for Consent Form
Entertainment: Book, iPad, iPhone, Headphones(Please do not play sound from your devices without headphones, it is distracting), I work better when I can give my undivided attention to the tattoo so please bring entertainment so you are not bored when I am unable to chat
Comfortable clothes that allow access to the area being tattooed (if you are getting a tattoo in an area that requires the chest area to be exposed I will provide pasties), the studio can be cold, please bring a jacket. Neutral colors and plain clothing is preferred for photos, you will be receiving the photos I take of your tattoo!
I provide water and snacks but if you’d like you are more than welcome to bring some!
Appointment Payment Information:
Cash is preferred
Venmo payments will be charged an additional 1.9% + .10c to cover the platform’s transaction fees
Card payments will be charged an additional 4% to cover the platform’s transaction fees
Numbing Creams & Pain Medications:
You are more than welcome to use numbing creams and take Tylenol prior to your appointment.
Pain Medication: Please do not take any pain medication other than Tylenol prior to your appointment because majority of pain medication thins your blood which makes the tattoo process more difficult and will cause your tattoo to not heal as well.
Numbing Creams: If you would like to use numbing cream for your appointment please test it out prior to your appointment to make sure it does not cause you any skin irritation. Please apply prior to your appointment and also bring the cream to the appointment. Here is a link to the one cream I am comfortable with my client using: Zensa Numbing Cream.
Please do not use any other numbing creams, for it could put your health and tattoo at risk.
It will not be on long enough to work if you apply it once at the appointment, please apply prior, at least 30 minutes.
Please strictly follow the instructions for the numbing cream.
